Hi, friends!

Just a quick report:

Claudia has been with Laryssa today, and told me she started using the BiPAP during the night, everything seems fine with that.
I will manage to go to the hospital tomorrow and try to get more details about that from Dr. Pedro.

The sore on Laryssa's nose (due to the vent mask) is almost healed.

She caught a cold two days ago, but Dr. Pedro took special care of her and she is ok now.

Olá!
Estive hoje com Larissa no final do dia,ela está um pouquinho gripada mas está passando bem.
Tem amado usar o BIPAP seu nariz já cicatrizou a ferida.
Todos que entram para visitar ela faz questão em apresentar seu aparelho.
Ela vigia a aparelho todo o tempo com receio que tirem o aparelho de lá.
Ela se adaptou tão bem que ficamos surpresos,ela já não chora mais para colocar a máscara para dormir,pois se sente muito contortável.
O numero de horas de sono dela até aumentou conforme me foi informado e achei ela mais calma.
Obrigada a todos mais uma vez.

I saw this topic a number of times and never read it because I thought it was intended for a forum member named Little Larissa. I noticed the other day how many postings it had so I got very curious.

I had tears in my eyes all the way to the last page. What an amazing story, the kindness and generosity touched my heart in so many ways.

Thank you for the update, Brazilian & Claudia,

Hopefully Laryssa's cold is temporary, and any other bugs she may get while in the hospital may provide a boost for her immune system. It's good to hear she is sleeping at night with the machine. Let us know if Dr. Pedro has a plan to get her out of the ICU and into the infirmary. That should give her a welcome change of scenery, and more people to visit!
