This is a very difficult, if not impossible question to answer.
DME as well a most everthing else. are like a box of chocolate.............

One person may see one DME rep and the next patient will see another and the difference will be night and day.

Sometimes you will get a very perky people person eho tries to help, but knows little about PAP/

It is like a box of chocolate., you never know what you are going to get.

Why do you need a local DME? Why not just use CPAP.COM?

Because I already started the "rental" with the DME and want to switch machines....insurance stuff....billmyinsurance won't get involved at this point...best option is to go to another brick and mortar to get the machine...

I'm not sure that a different DME is going to want to get involved if you've already started with the first one.....either (like billmyinsurance).
I have no experience with that, but it seems like that's what I've read with others' experiences.

RT--Hi there --I am in Phoenix --well Mesa actually. Got to RTA HOME Heathcare --you can look them up online to see where the offices are located to see if there is one by you. They have been great to me!! I am sad that I had to switch from them to Apria due to a change in my Insurance. 480-844-0100 is the number of the one in Tempe that I uesed---ask for FRANK. He is the best RT there --good luck buddy!! Let me know what you find out,

Carrie

I'm in Phoenix and I use ARET (I think that's it - or ART for Advanced Resp. Therapy). I'm in the process of being approved for yet another sleep study so will get a card if you are still interested.

Hi KarenAZ!!! Yes--please let me know about ART-----in PHX. I am probably going to need another sleep study soon. My last one was in August of last year. I'd be interested in hearing about the place that you are going to in case the APRIA does not work out well.

thanks!!
Carrie

I can add one excellent DME to this list:
Ron Evans, RRT is the owner of Valley Respiratory Services. He has offices in East Phoenix (480 830 7700) and West Phoenix (623 930 1225).

I have been with him almost two years and have been very happy with his services. He is very knowledgeable and helpful.
