Everything has been fine until I tried to download data from the smartcard to Respironics EncorePro 1.8.49, the data download stopped half way showing error
I can save the data on the smartcard by using mycpap but when trying to format it I get the following error

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:
<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.
And when I insert the card into the machine, the machine is beeping and the lights flashing, used to be just fine before I try to download the data.

The card file has been corrupted - likely caused by removing it from the reader or machine when it was reading/writing to it. I never remove my card from the reader when the green lite is on - you have to close your reports for it to go off.
Make sure Encore is closed when you are trying to format it with MyCPAP Card utility - try it again.
Format the card then put it back in the machine Happiness
Post back to let us know how you made out.
Good Luck,

I can't speak to the software problems, but when my machine starts beeping and the lights start flashing I have to unplug the power to the machine and restart it in order to stop the alarm.
Just like I have no idea why this turns off the alarm and makes the corrupted card acceptable, I have no idea why the alarm sounds and the lights flash.

If you go up to the Search function and do a search on "8004020F", you will get four threads where this problem is discussed.
Good luck.

Thanks Wulfman, I have also got this reply from Phil Gillam, who wrote MyCpap
Hi There,
The card reader needs to be connected directly to a usb 2.0 port on the pc,
it will not work on a usb hub or usb 1 due to voltage requirements during a
format or write operation.
Regards
Phil
Tried and it solved my problem. Thanks.

I wondered if that might be your problem.

Yup,
My 1st thought was - reformat the card using Encore Pro - & also don't do it unless the reader is directly connected to a USB 2.0 port.
Good luck
