Pad a cheek For Quattro

Post by admiralross » Mon Feb 04, 2008 12:09 pm

Hello All!

These masks are uncomfortable to wear in doing so makes it hard for compliance. The Quattro works better with the leaks then my old mask. I clean the mask and forehead thing daily.. The masks nose piece and the forehead parts are what bother me.

I was looking around at the Pad-a-cheek for the mask that I have. Does anyone here use it, if so does it work? I'd like some opinions before I purchase.

Thanks,

Yes, I ordered both the forehead pad and the nose pad for my Quattro from Karin. BOTH of these are very helpful, make the mask much more comfortable (along with the strap covers--I use those on all of my headgear, just feels better).

Hi,

I have the Quattro padacheek and like it. It didn't completely eliminate the nose bridge redness so I put a piece of Mack's silicone putty in that little triangle. Between the Mack's and padacheek, the Quattro no longer gouges my face.

Do any of you guys/gals get "rug burn" on the back of your neck from the Quattro? I have the pad-a-check forehead pad for my husband, which works great... but his neck has a line on the back of it.

No rug burn here ... but I have heard someone else comment about the bottom strap and where it falls. I guess it's once of those differences in facial and head topology that affects which masks work and for whom!

I haven't used the Quattro, but I have a few other masks like that... ask padacheek... I know that she's got a pad for my hybrid that covers the bottom strap, not sure if it would fit the Quattro or not.

I have the Padacheek forehead pad that works great! No more marks on my face in the mornings!

I also have the Padacheek nose bridge protection pad but since I've learned to put on my mask correctly and adjusted it off my nose I haven't had to use it.

I did have the Padacheek nose bridge protection pad for my F&P 407 Nasal and it worked great to get rid of the sore on my nose and it did not make the mask leak. But I don't use that mask anymore because I use the full face Quattro.

Good luck and buy with confidence because the pads work and are inexpensive.
