REM question, and working dreams

Post by Country4ever » Mon Nov 12, 2007 7:17 am

Hi all,
Boy, last night really wore me out. I had one of those working dreams. I guess I was at a political convention and couldn't find a seat. Feels like I spent hours and hours looking for a seat. Then when I'd find one, it would be so uncomfortable, I'd have to look for another one.
Then Hillary Clinton offered to drive me to one of the conventions, and just before time to leave, I realized I was dressed too casually, so I grabbed a nicer outfit and tried to put it on in the car, and was getting all caught up in it. So Hilary
Then we stopped somewhere at like an airport giftshop and I think I was still getting dressed, and she was looking at a blanket. I looked at the clock and it was 4:10. I was amazed at how calm she was because the convention started at 4:40-5p.m. What a night!
I think I awoke alot of times because of the leaks I'm getting just on slightly higher pressures.
Anyhow....onto the question: I've heard differing info. Do we only dream during REM sleep, or can we dream in deeper, but non REM sleep?
Its hard to believe I can wear myself out with dreams in REM sleep and get any refreshing sleep at all. Thanks.

As tempting as it is to say something "clever" about your encounter with Hillary, I won't.....

Here's some reading material about dreams and dreaming.

Yeah, they often turn into horrible nightmares.
