Machine beeping
Machine beeping
This morning when I was getting up my hubby said that my machine was beeping but i didn't hear it. I was out of water but would the machine beep for that?

How do you clean the card?
Perchancetodream wrote:I also learned (the hard way) that your machine will beep if your data card is inserted incorrectly, is dirty or corrupted. (Mine was dirty and the machine started beeping in the middle of the night).

Mine did this last night. When I went to bed I put the card in and checked the display and the card indicator was correct. When I got up for a potty break at 5:30 I cut the machine off and it went to beeping and flashing those baby blues. I pulled out the card and reinserted it and it quit beeping and flashing. Of course I got no data for most of the night. Cleaned the card this morning. The Instructions for cleaning the card is to rub the gold area with a non abrasive eraser (one of the white rubber ones) then wipe with an alcohol on a cloth.

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting: "Wow what a ride!"

Must be "something in the air" lately......mine did that two nights ago, too. Naturally, it waits till you're just about asleep (about 10 minutes) before it starts beeping. Pulled the card out and put it back in and things were fine.

My guess it is related to Daylight Savings time adjustment for US machines, but the machine doesn't know it is this Sunday not last.Wulfman wrote:Must be "something in the air" lately......mine did that two nights ago, too.
