If normal is an AHI of 5 or below, what would a normal persons AHI read like on the software? How would the AHI breakdown....1 AI per hour?2 AI per hour?3 AI per hour? How long would the AI be to be classified as nomal? 10,20 or 30 second AI? I am trying to figure out just how normal I am?
What is normal?
It should be AHI under 5, If they are not using a Resmed and if the pressure is correct and the mask doesn't leak. As you are probably aware Resmed scores some events high. Really using XPAP just for games isn't effective, as if you don't need it, it's not natural to use, so the results could be wrong. Jim

Re: What is normal?
There is no "normal" per se.track wrote:I am trying to figure out just how normal I am?
A good sort of number would be a low percentage of "time in apnea" (like 0.1-0.3%). The mix of HI and AI in the AHI number will vary between individuals and their particular SDB presentation.
Cheers,
Bill
