well i am about to start my 4 th week and I am not doing well at all,
i got a full mask last week and used it 2 nights, it would start leaking in the middle of the night and i couldnt get it to stop, i would even try to hold it ankd it wouldnt work,
so i went back to the first mask and it would leak about 2 or 3 times at night, i am hating every minute of it, i am not wanting to use it and i hate going to bed cause i know i will be getting up all night long for the stupid mask, i feel the same as i did a month ago, the first week on this i loved it but now i am ready to throw in the towel
i still will try it on my days that i dont have to get up at 4, but for the most part i am stuck
dont know how to get the mask to work and i have tried everything,
thanks for listiening

What type of full face mask did you get?
Is it the correct size? The Fisher & Paykel 431c comes with three silicone seals (at least I was give all three sizes). I was prescribed the small, but I get fewer leaks and it is more comfortable using the medium size.
I get a good seal with the 431c in a medium size so you might try using the different size seals.
Good luck.

Mask leaks
When I've had masks that leaked, seemed just touching them with a little pressure made the leak stop. Have you tried the pantyhose tights strap wrapped over your mask for a little light steady pressure? May not work with yours - just a thought. Just be sure it can't slide and block the vent though. You may end up needing to go with a mask that is not full face and addressing any mouth breathing by other means, but if you are primarily a mouth breather, that wouldn't be a good idea. Good luck.

To keep a homemade strap in place across the front of a slippery plastic Full Face mask (covers nose and mouth) or nasal mask (covers nose), get some adhesive-backed velcro dots or strips. Afix those to the front of the plastic mask.
The "leg" strap you put across the front of the mask won't be as apt to slide up or down. The front of mask will be grippier because of the velcro.
If necessary, stitch the companion velcro to the middle of the pantyhose tights leg itself to get "for sure" grip to keep the leg from sliding off the sloped front of the mask.

And make sure you wash your mask frequently - and you face nightly. It makes a big difference too,
