DirectHomeMedical.com is the only place on the internet where I found the ENCORE PRO SOFTWARE v1.8i compatable with Vista but the first cd they sent me was blank so they sent me out a new one today, i'll get it next week so i'll see then,... BETTER HURRY, they have all stopped selling them to the public/patients, respironics ordered them to stop selling to us! Do a post and let us know if you ordered . The cost for the bundle is $ 169.00 plus shipping, you get the software and the usb card reader, that's the only way you can buy it... Oh, I emailed cpap.com and asked them why they don't offer it anymore and they said respironics refuses to sell it to use anymore... One last thing, if you order this from directhomemedical.com, it will say that you are ordering the v1.6i software but they send you the 1.8i version and you have to type in the search box "SOFTWARE" to even be able to find it. Goodluck

------------- DirectHomeMedical.com and type in the search box "Software", you can only purchase the bundle that includes the encore pro software version 1.8i vista compatable & the usb card reader... NOTE: the web page states that you are purchasing the v1.6i but they no longer have that one and they need to fix the error on their site. They will send you the v1.8i

Yeah, I bought that Aussie SW package too. Expensive but if you want it, what else are you going to do?
The card reader supplied with the SW is for a serial port (no choice) but I don't have a serial port on my current computer. I can either install a port (if I have a spare slot) or buy another reader (USB type) and toss the serial port reader. One other alternative is to put the reader on my old computer which does have a serial port. But I am trying to extract myself from the old and slow system (sigh).

Okay, I got the aussie Encore Pro package yesterday and installed it today. Loaded up just fine. Encore Pro is version 1.8. The INFINEER card reader is USB after all. The webpage picture with the serial reader is not what I got. Note : the smart card reader includes a CD with the Respironics USB and serial drivers on it. You have to load the Encore Pro software first or the driver will not load. Then the card reader driver and finally plug the reader into the USB port (after you reboot XP).
I stuck my smart card in the reader. brought up Encore Pro and downloaded the data. It asked me what I wanted to do with the data. I clicked on "view" and summary (I think). That was interesting but I can't find a way to go back and get the detail view (I think there was a choice for that but the menu won't re-appear).

Doesn't matter that the menu didn't reappear. All you have to do is look in the "Interaction List" under your patient name. You'll see the date of the "Compliance Download" you did. Double click that. This time when it asks how you want to look at the report, click Full Details.
In the Report Viewer, use the little green arrow at the top (or your keyboard PageDown key) to get to page 4. That's where the juicy details start in the Full Details report. I never even glance at the first three pages.
Thanks RG

Thank you Rested Gal.
I brought up the details and as you said ... the good stuff is after page 3. And there is quite a lot of it too.
Actually, I am surprised how much info the CPAP machine collects on me. I feel like my "little brother" is watching me sleep.
