Why the cpap-pro push??

Post by ddpelp » Wed Jun 13, 2007 2:26 pm

Curious if others have seen the last week or so TV and radio ads for cpap-pro? Kinda werid maybe they are making a last ditch effort to sell some units. I have only been reading this forum 3 months but have yet to read a good comment about this mask..

Until this past week i have never heard an ad for it now seems they are doing a ad push..

I used to hear those ads on the radio at least eight years ago.
I always wondered what the heck they were talking about.
when I was first diagnosed I planned to get one that is until I realized that I needed a FF mask.

You could search under a member named rustynail I know she also uses one.

It is a b--ch to set up correctly, but well worth the effort. You don't play with it for half hour unless you are a lot smarter than me. There are soooo many adjustments that you can make that if you don't get it righ it's because you gave up to soon.
SOmething I might add is that it has stopped my mouth leakage.

A search of this forum using cpappro all one word, give 11 pages of posts on it.

Go back and read the 11 pages. Somebody heard (inferred) or assumed. There are more people who have used it that have posted positively than negatively.
It's not easy to adjust correctly! IF you don't want to take the time to do it properly DON'T buy it. If nothing else has worked for you and you are willing and able to take the time to set it up properly, YOU MIGHT BE PLEASANTLY SUPRISED at the result.
As I said in an earlier thread, I was gifted one, lost it (along with my machine) immediately bought another one.
