I'm an HR Manager - been working in HR for 15 + years and most of the time, I love my job. At my current company, our warehouse crew calls me "the nice HR lady". Apparently, at their previous company HR was mean! I figure it's my role to make folks successful in their jobs - the managers, the employees, etc. - because that keeps the company in business, the employees with secure jobs, and me with less problems to solve
I'm happily married - will be 11 years in May. I have 3 stepdaughters and 2 granddaughters - and I'm only 40, so young enough to enjoy it!! The oldest daughter is 24, middle 21 about to be 22, and the youngest 17 - senior in high school. The teen years have been "fun" as we've raised the girls, since I'll always just be "Karen, the stepmom" - but when the oldest had her first baby she asked me to be in the delivery room with her - so in the end it all works out! My granddaughters are 5 and 1, and a real joy.
I've been a CPAPer since October 05 - it seemed at first that I would never adjust - now it's easy as pie. And WHAT a difference! It took several months, but gradually my energy returned, and the best part - my BRAIN and memory returned!! I've read all the things people do/have done while suffering undiagnosed with OSA - we must all really be amazing people, because how else did we manage everything while half-alive???
Very grateful to be a part of this wonderful hosehead crowd,
Karen
