Hello All,
I have a question for all.......
Has anyone ever hear about a pillow that's called " Sonapillow" that suppose to help people with sleep apnea.....?
If so does anyone use it....and does it work....?
Has anyone stop using they're cpap machine because of this pillow?

Unless your sleep study shows that you had no apneas while stomach sleeping,(highly unlikely for most of us) the "positional approach" to dealing with your apnea isn't likely to be very effective.
Prone, or stomach sleeping can reduce the number of apneas for many people, and if using autopap, will likely need one or two points lower pressure. So, if your prescribed pressure were 2, (joking here) you might find success with the sona pillow.
Most of us are probably better off investing our pillow dollars in a papillow to get more comfortable and compliant with the mask and machine that WILL treat the apnea.
I would not trust the sona pillow, or any other alternative therapy that claims to replace cpap, unless I could record proof of effectiveness with a PSG.

Re: SONAPILLOW
I have tried both and not pleased with them -- I was looking for a TRAVEL Pillow and ended up with a blowup & small travel pillow in the same pillow case!!!! --- I'm a side sleeper and was looking for some support , with the blowup I can change it acording to the softness of the bed I'm in...RAMBLINMAN wrote:Hello All,

Didn't think the pillows were a REPLACEMENT for the CPAP equipment???RAMBLINMAN wrote:If so does anyone use it....and does it work....?

If anybody is interested I still have the PAPillow mini edge pillow & willing to trade or move it out of the closet --- It's got the support of a bad marshmallow but a good size....
GOOD LUCK
When you find the Great Fix let use know!!! I'm still looking!!!!
