how do you know if you need more pressure and how much of it

How do you know when you need to increase presure on your cpap? How much do you increase it?

im at 10 now, don't think ineed much more, but wake with early morning need for more air.

There is really only a few of ways to figure out if the settings are correct. First, if you have the ablity to down load your machine's data take a look at the AHI numbers. Second, is how you are feeling in the morning i.e., feeling rested or not. Unless you can down load the data it's really a crap shoot trying to fiddle around with settings.

Yep! you need to be able to collect data from your machine and understand what it means or else its like driving a car with your eyes closed.

In general, the DME clinician/RT is supposed to drive the car for you but many of them are either too busy or uninterested in your personal health to keep you on the right road to OSA treatment ... which is why you as the patient should be driving.
