Airsense 11 popping on inhale and exhale

This machine had done this since new. On occasion, it randomly starts popping on inhale and on exhale. If I pull out the water tank and firmly push it back in, the popping stops. I was thinking it had something to do with the tank, so I got a new tank, it still does it!

I refill the water tank every night since this thing is a pig on water. I make it a practice to firmly push the tank in every time. I might go a week without the issue happening, then one day, in the middle of the night, it starts popping again.

Anyone else experience this?

What are your humidifier and heated hose settings? Are you getting water in the hose?

Common reasons for popping sounds:

• rain-out (water in hose)
• improperly seated humidifier tank
• misaligned, or worn seal on ResMed clam-shell lid
• Anti-asphyxia flap on FF masks

I have found mine to make a slight pop sound with inspiration just as I'm falling asleep. I returned it for another machine that did the same thing. Mine is the humidifier container being ever so slightly loose. I can sleep when I: use a white noise maker to in the white noise range, and push the humidifier side of the machine up against a hard surface to help stabilize it, and put weights on the top of the humidifier so it doesn't move with my breathing.
