CMS50E with OSCAR - tips

Post by soyjer » Sun Feb 02, 2025 5:19 pm

These tips might help you to use your CMS50E (CMS-50E) with OSCAR:

My Smart Device Assistant V3.1.0.1 on my Windows 10 machine using a CMS50E Pulse Oximeter doesn't offer a choice of where to save the SPO2 file...it just automatically puts it here:
C:\Users\[USERNAME]AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Smart Device Assistant V3.1.0.1\Data

Here is a video on the topic:

It also took me quite a while to figure out that (after saving the SPO2 file) I then needed to File/Close the live connection before the File/Open File command would be UN-greyed-out and available.
