Howdy. New forum member here

Post by sparkyv » Sat Jun 08, 2024 6:04 am

I've used CPAP for 24 years. Just got a new machine and mask and want to learn about OSA and my new fancy-schmansy equipment. This looks like a great forum!

Welcome! If you edit your profile to include your machine and mask (and anything else you want to) we'll know more about it and you. See mine (at the bottom of each post) for an example.

When we need help we share graphs... I use both Oscar (free software) and SleepHQ (free website) to analyze the data from the machine... just upload the data from your SD card and get started.

www.sleepfiles.com/oscar (download)
www.sleephq.com (website)

For use at home nothing beats Oscar, but for sharing here, SleepHQ is the best. Here's a recent night of mine:

https://sleephq.com/public/88256123-113 ... 86a5292573

Note how you can zoom in with the mouse... every breath recorded! Click and drag across that CA event and see what happened... looks like there were a couple of them but only one registered as long enough to count.

We're kind of limited as to disk space here... so links are to be preferred to uploaded pictures or attachments. See the Sticky posts at the top of the index for more.

I don't have an SD card just yet. The unit didn't come with one.

Done.

24 years, that's quite the journey. You'll find loads of helpful info here, trust me.

I wouldn't get anything bigger than 32GB.
