CPAP Accessories Suppliers?

Post by Fritz1255 » Fri Mar 29, 2024 4:57 pm

Hi, new to this board. I am on Medicare, and my supplies are paid for through them. This is a Medicare supplement, not Medicare Advantage, if that makes any difference. A couple of questions related to getting accessories for my CPAP machine. 1) I presently use Lincaire for supplies. They have sent the wrong stuff, and are being evasive about how to return it. The biggest problem is that the only people I can talk to are at their call center in India, most of them barely speak English, and the story changes every time you talk to them. They have been promising to send me a return label via email for about three weeks now. It hasn't happened yet, and I doubt it ever will. Does anyone have any contact information for Lincaire for someone in the US? 2) How would I go about switching suppliers? Can anyone recommend a supplier who takes Medicare and doesn't insist that all customer service comes out of India?

Here's a link, this is how you find a DME. DME's are mostly the same, I've heard horror stories just like yours for others. They make money when they send stuff, whether it's the right stuff or not. They'll get you on a subscription plan and send you stuff way more often than you need it.

I recommend that the next time you talk to them get a case number and name. This tends to make them straighten up and fly right. Verify your email with them carefully. If you can't get satisfaction mention the word 'escalate', as in you're going to pull a 'Karen' on them. Sorry you're in this run-around but it's how they make money.

I'm not on part B yet... signed up for A, but I'm still insured at work. I don't bother using insurance because they take so long to ship and the prices are outrageous... I never meet my deductible anyway.
