Using OSCAR with a new CPAP

Post by PST » Thu Mar 21, 2024 10:44 am

I apologize in advance if this is well worn territory, but my search skills have failed. I am a happy CPAP and OSCAR user for many years. I just replaced my trusty AirSense 10 AutoSet (37028) with an AirSense 11 AutoSet (39523). No problems with the former, but I have used it daily for a decade and it kept nagging me motor failure was possible. The new model should fit in my luggage a little more smoothly as well. Is there a protocol for an easy, seamless transition? My instinct is to stick the SD card I've been using into the new machine, collect a night's data, use the same profile as before, and trust OSCAR to sort everything out the next day without scrambling things up. Are there pitfalls I should be aware of? By the way, hi to all old friends who are still here. I have been MIA in recent years only because this board taught me everything I needed to know and therapy has been smooth.

OSCAR can handle multiple machines under the same profile without any problems.
I have had as many as 5 or 6 different machines under one profile.

So you can just plug the SD card into your machine and then your computer after the night is over...and OSCAR will sort it out.

Thank you, Pugsy. That's just what I'll do.
