CPAP won't stay on

Post by jmlow » Mon Nov 20, 2023 8:03 am

When turning on cpap starts to ramp up then turns off after 6-7 seconds. Tried plugging unplugging & checked all connections. No error messages on screen. Any advise?

Is that with you mask on or off?

Which machine? Does it have an auto start and or auto stop option enabled?
If it does, disable them.

Make sure everything is tight, especially the water chamber. If the machine senses uncontrolled airflow and you have Autostart enabled it will turn itself off, as it thinks you have removed your mask.

Yes, disable auto-off. You probably don't have to disable auto-on if it's a separate setting.

Open the water chamber and make sure the gasket is seated in the grove correctly.

Also make sure it is full seated when inserted the water chamber.

Either block the end of the hose or remove the hose and block the output when you turn it on.

Do you hear any air leaking when turning it on?
