OSCAR stopped working with Windows 11

Post by TucsonTom » Fri Sep 15, 2023 9:57 am

I have been using OSCAR without problems for a couple of months now. About two weeks ago it started acting up. For example, it doesn't display the views that I choose (view daily, etc.). It reads my SD card and imports my O2 data ok (I think it does anyway; at least there isn't an error message). Very disappointing after weeks of trouble-free performance. I've tried removing and reinstalling. Any other suggestions?

Update: even though I can't see anything on my computer screen, on a whim I went up to where the menu should be and lo and behold the menus appeared when I hovered. I selected print and to my surprise the reports printed completely. So it's strictly a matter of the screen display. I hope this helps someone with troubleshooting.

About two weeks ago OSCAR was upgraded from version 1.4 to 1.5, and the newer version caused problems with some display types.
Which version are you using?
