How often should I clean hose without using humidifier

I stopped using the humidifier features in my air sense 11. Since there isn't water in the hose, is it necessary to still clean it every couple of weeks?

The only thing going through the hose is your filtered room air.

I clean mine about once every never.

I clean mine about once every never.

Do you buy a new hose every 3 months? That is my recommended replacement schedule. Or am I getting hosed? (no pun intended).

The "replacement schedule" is complete bullshit.

My hose is about 6 years old, but I have never cleaned it. It is like new. If I used William Shatner approved methods of cleaning, it might not have lasted as long.

I am still using the hose that came with my machine--in 2020.
I have never washed it.
I use distilled water in the humidifier.
Shatner is an ACTOR--not a scientist or medical professional.

I use the same hose without cleaning it for years. There are two reasons I do this -

1. It doesn't get dirty.
2. I can crow about it in the forum.
