Machine cutoff/overheating

Post by Cpap99 » Thu Jan 12, 2023 4:45 am

Resmed 10

Staying at a hotel. When i woke up this morning my machine was off. Finally found the power supply was very hot. Machine turned on once it cooled down.

Machine was plugged in via the lamp and on a towel in a drawer.

Any suggestions?

My ResMed AS10 is always in a drawer on a towel -- an open drawer when the machine is working.

When that happened to my laptop, it was just the power supply that had to be replaced.

I would try plugging it directly into an outlet and placing it on a hard surface.

That said, a new power supply, as suggested above, might also be a good idea.

My power supply is never in the drawer nor is it ever on a towel....
