Hi I did something really stupid help!

Hi I had heard something about the Dreamstation I use and got scared so I got out an old machine from the shed that had been in a travel bag in there since November. It smelled kind of funny like a cheesy type smell but before I noticed I put my Dreamstation in the same bag the other machine was in. I spoke to Phillips Respironics they advised me to continue using the Dreamstation. Well now I am scared and worried and what I want to ask you is if my Dreamstation was in the same bag as the old machine and the old machine had mold or something could that have gotten mold in my Dreamstation?

I saw a post in a cpap group on Facebook and I talked to Phillips Respironics this morning they confirmed it was true.

Are you using some sort of ozone device like the SoClean to clean your DreamStation machine
and equipment?

Exactly what was it you read on Facebook that has alarmed you about your DreamStation?

Fecebook is often trolled by attention-seeking panic-mongers.
Pay them no attention.
Philips-Respironics is merely covering their substantially over-fed hind end.
They are not obligated to be truthful if doing so reduces their profit.
You have been suckered.
Try not to let them do that to you again.

I got off Facebook over five years ago (permanently) because of all the crap i read. I would log off every time so angry, disillusioned and depressed.

And that was just interacting with my friends and family.
