SD Error Machine Won’t Work
I’ve been using my ResMed AirSense 10 for about 2 1/2 months now and since I started I’ve had the ResMed SD card in it. It was brand new when I put it in and just last night it’s saying preparing SD card and won’t go off that screen and therefore my machine won’t turn on or go any further unless I take the SD card out. Everytime I remove the SD card that same message will pop up on the screen for about two seconds then go away and I can use my machine but now it’s just stuck. Has this happened to anyone else? I can’t imagine the SD card already being full. And when I put it in, the SD card is unlocked so I have no idea what’s going on.

The SD card will not fill up. When it gets full it starts to write over data. I may hold up to a years. Have you tried unplugging the machine for a few seconds and then re plugging it in?

Yep I unplugged and plugged it back in and still same issue.

- If you frequently take the card out to read in Oscar or other means, possibly some finger oils and/or salts may have gotten on the gold contacts of the SD card and preventing the card from being read. Lightly dampen a cotton Q-Tip with some alcohol (squeeze out any excess with a dry tissue) and gently wipe down the contacts to clean.
- If you have a card reader for your computer, can the card be read in that? If you get an error or the computer gives a message to format, it may be an indication the card has a problem.
- Do you have another SD Card around that you could try, such as from a digital camera (be sure to save any pictures first)?
