after using it, could you come back with a review?

Having trouble accepting the legitimacy of that post.
  • New member
  • First and only post
  • No reference to the AirSense 11 on ResMed's site
  • Nobody is selling them yet
  • No announcements from ResMed though any official channels.
Resmed is a public company, something as significant as a new device to their flagship product would justify a Press Release as they did with the 10.

RedMed mentions the AirSense 11 being available this year in this HME News link:

the upcoming launch of the company’s next generation CPAP device, the AirSense 11, which it says is smaller, quieter and more “cloud connected.”
It's cloud connected, you hear? No need for any removable media in these new devices.

I'm gonna stock up on VAUTO 10's.

The AirSense 10 is cloud-connected (MyAir). But, yeah, that "more cloud connected" is a bit worrisome.

According to pictures and documents seen, the AirSense 11 will still have an SD card.

At least they are not ignoring people who don't have cellular coverage.
People do live in those places.

Thanks. I think it would be insanity to discontinue the SD card and leave OSCAR users in the lurch.

We still have to wait and see what the data on the SD card looks like and whether it will require minor or major work in OSCAR to support it. There's no telling now what lies ahead.

Is ResMed currently marketing ResScan to the medical profession?

I don't know what ResMed is doing. ResScan is still listed on the ResMed website.

I see that cpap.com has the AirSense 10 AutoSets on sale now. Current sale ends tonight but there will likely be a new different sale and if the price stays reduced then I wouldn't be surprised to see the AirSense 11 sooner than later as ResMed dictates the sale prices and they may be wanting to move the A 10 models out the door to make room for the A 11 models. That's usually what has happened in the past.
You won't ever see them admit to it but that's been the reality in the past.
