Fisher & Paykel Evora quality control issues?

Post by vmass » Wed Mar 10, 2021 7:37 pm

Hello, I currently have a Resmed Airfit P10 nasal pillows mask through insurance but find it a little bit uncomfortable, and came across the Fisher & Paykel Evora which seemed like it would be more comfortable for me with the nasal cradle. Since I'm not due for a new mask for awhile, I decided to buy a fitpack directly from an online retailer.

After wearing it for less than 2 weeks, the first mask I received developed small holes in the tubing near the nasal cradle connection:

I was able to send it back for a replacement which I received today, and this one has a crooked hose connection going into each part of the mask connection:

Anyone else with an Evora having this issue? The tubing on my Resmed mask does not look like this. Thanks!

I hope you have contacted Fisher & Paykel....We certainly cannot help you with the problem.

Yes, I contacted them and they gave me a case # to give to the place I purchased it from, which it turns out is just a reseller, not a direct buyer from F&P. They ended up doing a good will replacement for me. I'm more wondering if others with Evora masks have hoses that look like this or if I'm getting these from a bad batch.
