Resmed S9 seemingly randomly changing pressure
Hi, I’ve got a resmed S9 and it’s about 10 years old. I’ve noticed the pressure has been changing by itself (I assume ) over the last 5-8 months. It can be fine but then the pressure can suddenly change one night and stay like that for 1 to 5 nights and then revert back. I’m wondering what the likelihood of this happening is and whether anyone has experienced anything similar. Obviously I can’t see anyone in my household changing the settings without informing me - they wouldn’t know how . But still, these devices are built to very high standards so the likelihood of the pressure randomly changing from one night to the next would be very unlikely. Has anyone had anything similar happen to them?

Without seeing data from your machine it's hard to give you an answer...What you are describing would be very unusual. With a 10 year old machine, it is likely on it's last legs. If you have been using the machine regularly for 10 years, there must be over 25,000 hours on it. That is very high hours for that machine. Start looking for a replacement.
What specific S9 model are you using? There are about 7 of them.

Is it finding more effective pressures than you found?supportvector wrote: ↑Sat Dec 26, 2020 5:05 pmIt can be fine but then the pressure can suddenly change one night and stay like that for 1 to 5 nights and then revert back.

If you're using a ResMed S9 Autoset and it's set to a range of pressures......IT WILL DO THAT.supportvector wrote: ↑Sat Dec 26, 2020 5:05 pmHi, I’ve got a resmed S9 and it’s about 10 years old. You need to fill out your profile and become knowledgeable about what equipment you're using.
And, take control of your own therapy.
Get some easily available software like OSCAR and you will be able to know what's happening during the nights.

He says "changing pressure" several times and "changing settings" one time. Of course, those are two different things. It's unclear what he means.
