Low Oxygen Levels

Post by TCB » Mon Sep 21, 2020 2:39 pm

Based on the chart posted does anyone see why I might have low oxygen levels, or high hemacrit & hemaglobin levels?

Thanks!

CPAP does not measure those items

???

Blood components are measured by blood tests, not Cpap!

Try raising your minEPAP.

In classic bilevel therapy, you raise EPAP to increase oxygenation, you raise PS to increase ventilation (ie, lower carbon dioxide).

Sorry you did not understand the question. I was looking for cause, not results!

I see nothing on the detailed report itself which might point to causing low oxygen levels or high red blood cell count.

For low oxygen levels and blaming OSA or less than optimal therapy....we would expect to see a much higher AHI and a lot of prolonged apneas happening really close together. I just don't see it here.

I would look elsewhere if it were me.
