Cellular monitoring by provider: how works?

Post by Chandleresque » Mon Jun 29, 2020 12:23 pm

Just wondering as I intend selling my machine and need to know if putting the settings to default will remove this cellular transmission aspect.? Don’t want their new data sent to provider..!

Nope. If you bought it new, it was registered to you. I tried to get one that I bought used re-registered in my name. The doctor even sent an order to the DME to change the registration. Through incompetence, the DME couldn't get it done. I guess every time I sleep, some DME a couple of states away thinks it their customer.

As far as I know, the machine does not automatically transmit anything. The data needs to be requested using the serial number. Only a DME or doctor should have the capability to request the data.
