My machine has decided it doesn't like being turned off, so turns itself on when I'm not using it.
It's so quiet, even then, that I don't KNOW it has done that unless I check it closely.
Initially, the auto-shutoff quit working, but I wasn't bothered, and turned it off manually when
I got up in the morning.
NOW, however, it is doing it almost daily, so I have to unplug it.
Not a huge problem, because the VA will replace it, but getting to the hospital is a chore
because I don't drive.
But I was wondering if there is a known problem, and should I expect it to happen
again with a new machine (1.5 years old)??

Re: Airsense 10 problem
My auto off/on started malfunctioning about eight months ago. Same machine as yours. It is about 1.25 years old.
I now use the manual on/off switch.
Have not heard anyone having trouble with the main switch.
Will it turn all the way off by holding down the on/off switch.
You could get a power strip with a switch and use it for now. A little easier than unplugging/plugging in.
Better luck with the new machine.

I will watch for that problem.
My Airsense is over 5 years old, with over 17,000 hours run time.
Medicare will replace it when needed.

If you use the humidifier and heated hose the machine does a cool down cycle for 30min after using the off button blowing softly to dry out the hose, it will show a snow flake on the screen whilst doing it. Are you sure it’s not that ? If it was in normal operation mode you would hear air blowing from the end of the hose

It APPEARS to turn off via the switch, but then turns back on an hour or more later.jimbud wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2020 11:24 pmMy auto off/on started malfunctioning about eight months ago. Same machine as yours. It is about 1.25 years old.

I have it in a power strip, but other things are also connected that I want left on,so..
Will get a replacement easily, this week, and looking at a different power setup for the future.
Thanks.

Nope, turns back on fully, AND drains the humidifier tank if I don't catch it early.Jas_williams wrote: ↑Sat Jan 11, 2020 1:07 amSDBud

Re: Airsense 10 problem
Unplug it for a few minutes to reset it.
But, if it's 1.25 yeas old, it's (likely) still under warranty.
Contact your vendor.
Point your phone's video camera and OSCAR graphs to demonstrate the problem.
