Lock the SD card before putting it in the computer.
Go ahead and let the machine reformat the card.
lock it next time before putting in the computer, unlock it before putting it back in the machine.

Thank you. I started over last night. Second night on the machine and I slept better than I have in 2 years. I slept 6 hours instead of the usual 4-4.5. I'll take it.

That's very good news -- 6 hours is SO much better than 4. Now just think what 8 would be like! If you want to see whether some fine-tuning could get you there, come back to this thread and post a Daily chart so the experts can take a look.
