Thank you for your replies everyone...I have decided to give the Go a go...after letting my partner hear the noise of the AirMini (which, with earplugs in she said was not that noticeable) I decided that the Go will most likely not be any louder and hopefully less so. That plus the fact the Go has a humidifier seemed like the better option. Fingers crossed.
Did you "pull the trigger" on the purchase of a Go? How does it compare to the Resmed Mini? Thanks. Cheers.

Yes, I bought the Go with the humidifier and really like it so far. The first time I used it I had really bad rainout because the hose isn’t heated. So I had to get a hose cozy and that fixed the issue completely.

Note that I sleep with ear plugs so I am not overly sensitive to noise from either machine. I don’t recall the Airmini making much noise other than at the mask level (the hissing noise on the exhale most people complain about). I don’t get the hiss at the mask level using the Go. So the pros to me are that it’s quieter, has a humidifier and has controls on the machine. The cons are the weight and that it’s larger.

Of course when you put the airmini and the brick power supply together, I think the Go seems actually more compact and portable (excluding the humidifier of course).
