Clogged Ears

Post by Murf56 » Thu Jul 25, 2019 5:43 am

I suffer from a condition called Surfers Ear. It's a condition where the ear canal is closed in by bone spurs and a doctor can't use a scope to view your ear drum.
Surprisingly this does not normally affect my hearing in both ears. However; at certain times my ears have been clogged for an extended period of time.
Currently my left ear has been clogged for 3 weeks after swimming underwater without my ear plugs on 7/5/2019. I have tried swimmers ear solution to free any water in my ears. I have a prescription ear drops to lessen any swelling that may be in the ear canal. However; to days ago after traveling in an airplane to Florida my left ear became UNCLOGGED!!!!! for an entire DAY!!! Only to be clogged again yesterday after sleeping with my CPAP overnight :-(
I reduced my pressure from 16.6 to 15.6 and reduced the humidity from 8 to 5. Unfortunately this morning my left ear is still clogged. I have tried all the ear popping techniques with no luck.... Any ideas???
