what IS that?
WHERE is that?
It's mess of utility poles, utility lines and dead vines. It was in the Chandni Chowk market in Old Delhi. The photo is at least 10 years old, maybe 15. It got so much circulation on the internet, the Indian government was embarrassed and cleaned it up a bit.
If you know where the Hercules gym still is in Chandni Chowk (Moonlight Square), it was right there.

I just talked to Gramps. He tried to go to the Hercules gym, but it had moved. He found Xardum - A Fitness Factory nearby. He said it was much nicer than Hercules, and he now recommends it. (He walked to the Red Fort after working out.) Xardum's address is:
Mercantile Building, 307, 2nd Floor,, Chandni Chowk Rd, Fatehpuri, Chandni Chowk, New Delhi, Delhi 110006, India
You might want to change your bucket list.

I've noticed that a low water level doesn't seem to get evaporated into the hose. There appears to be a "minimum" level, which I need to find. I fill it to about the second line, and dump the remaining amount because once or twice it looked nasty when I left it there day after day.
However, I continually wake up with a raw throat, then see water still in the tank. But it's first thing in the morning so my brain doesn't process the information very well, so life goes on, same as it ever was. Now, I'm going to start filling it up more.
As for tap water, one night and the scale deposit was heavy, so I won't do that unless I can't get distilled.

If your local humidity level is high - and I imagine in Fla. it would be - I personally would not be using a humidifier as it would likely give me 'cold' symptoms, congestion, etc. and whatever you experience.

That’s what the powerlines look like in just about any Caribbean country. Pretty amazing they work even when there isn’t a hurricane.

That photo was actually in the Chandni Chowk market in Old Delhi in front of the former Hercules gym. The photo is at least 10 years old, maybe 15. It got so much circulation on the internet, the Indian government was embarrassed and cleaned it up a bit.

Less water, more extension cords.

wonder how many people read ALL the posts on the forum?
I read for both enlightenment & entertainment. Chicago Granny's response was perfect and if I happened to be drinking when saw yours, that would have been a mess, lol.

Ambient outdoor humidity varies greatly. In winter, when it's sunny humidity is very low. Yesterday we had warm temperatures, high humidity, and a strong cold front, today it's chilly and desert-like.
In summer, fuggetaboutit. You almost need scuba gear outside, it's that humid.
And with air conditioning, it's always lower humidity than outside.
