P30i review

I'm mostly a full face mask guy and am adjusting to the ins and outs of the AirFit F30.
However, I do have an N30i mask that my DME fitted me with in early February and I figured I might as well try a P30i cushion with it for a night and see what I thought.

I was impressed. One problem I had with the P10 was difficulty exhaling through the pillows, especially if I was anxious.
The P30i pillows are cut slightly different and easier to exhale a lot of air through.

The venting on the P30i is much improved over the P10; much quieter and barely any breeze at all.
Also, the vent at the top of the head is designed much better than the vent on the DreamWear mask.
No air coming out of the P30i is likely to bounce off of your pillow or your sheets.

Although the P10 is a very comfortable mask, the P30i goes a step further in providing no mask marks and the feeling of "nothing on your face."
Of course, you'll still feel the pillows at your nostrils until you get used to it, but you really don't feel the frame around your head.

I was really impressed and will probably never wear the P10 again. However, I did have mouth leak of 19 L/min and a bit of a drier nose as a result.

I'll stick with my full face mask; however, if it weren't for mouth leak I do like the P30i hands down over any other nasal or nasal pillows mask that I've tried.
I'll keep it on hand, because I occasionally grab my pillows mask when it's a night that I might have trouble falling asleep with a full mask.

I have been anxiously waiting for my pillows to arrive. I have several masks, including the p10 and the Dreamwear nasal pillows. I like the p10 but keep going back to the Dreamwear although the gurgling noise is annoying. I love the n30i and got it when it came out but I despise cushions and how much it leaks.

The pillows are on backorder so hopefully they will be within a week for me.
