" ranges of passing"---all of which can be circumvented, one way or the other.
It is becoming all too clear that merit counts for bupkis, if one can pull enough "strings".
Lots of luck to the patient. Best not to suffer from anything too hard to handle.
I have no idea what the passing percentage on medical boards is... but you can bet it's not 100%.

The federal license exam I took recently required 74% or better to pass... didn't matter at all that I got something in the 95% range.
Googled it, for 4 years, it's just over 85%. At 6 years, over 90%.
You googled what?

And no matter what the passing score is, it doesn't address Chunky's point that no matter whether someone is top of the class, or scraped by barely passing, they're still called "doctor".

I resent that, I am a mechanic, self taught, 40 years and still learning.

One thing to remember, Those Doctors, Biologists, Engineers all have one thing in common, they were taught from books and teachers that taught but not necessarily spent their lifetime working in the field. Not all of them graduated top of their class, many barely got by. Jim
YOU have CLEARLY never been to medical school. ALL the teachers there ARE trained Doctors or Scientists, and NOT mechanics.

When you post such nonsensical opinions, you're just exposing yourself to ridicule.
The Doctors are Gods syndrome is strong in this one.

Either way, I'm not aware of any respected doctors who have fallen for the warped rhetoric of FauxClean commercials.

Physicians are among the most scrutinized and regulated professions. As healthcare consumers, we have the obligation to thoroughly review our choices of treatment providers. We all have the same choice with physicians as we do with forums. If you don't like the doctor or the forum, find a new one.

I had a doctor a few years ago that was great for about twenty years, and then something happened he was not prepared for.
I got sick. His incompetence damn near killed me. I am still dealing with the consequences.
So much for doctors being gods. They are human. Some of them are not very good at what they are doing.
