Suggestion request for ResMed BiPAP, please.

Can someone please tell me which ResMed Bi-PAP machine to ask my doctor to prescribe for me? I have been using a Dreamstation Bi-PAP and I just hate the way it handles my breathing. I gave it a good go for 5 months, I want to try something else.

Resmed is a bi-level. Bipap is a trademark of phillips.

I have the resmed aircurve vauto, it is bilevel. I lucked out in that is what the dme gave me for my first machine. I understand from people here it is one of the best.

You're welcome. I left the 10 out. Its the aircurve 10 vauto as palerider said.

I'm really excited.
I really believe as I have believed since the beginning of treatment that the Bi-PAP(Dreamstation) doesn't let me breathe properly. Originally I even told the doctor I thought the machine was defective.
After 5 months of research and experiences and therapy and medication. I have come to the conclusion that the algorithm that Phillips uses isn't for me. Their CPAP machine may very well be one of the best. But their Bi-PAP most certainly is not a fit for me.
I can't wait to prove my theory. I'll post back.

LSAT sells low hour machines here regularly, never a complaint. He is a longtime member with an impeccable reputation.

Finding a lightly used machine at near that price will be very difficult.

Keep an eye on his posts, he sells machines fairly often. Though VAUTOs are a lot more rare than the more common AutoSets.
