Deeply asleep smooth shallow breathing ie good sleep maybe if you zoom in on a two minute section during that time your breaths should be smooth and even

I am in agreement with Jas. I suspect that nice smooth flow rate you think looks so small is really nice deep asleep smooth boring flow rate. We don't normally take big breaths when deep asleep.
Look at the flow rate up to around 21:20 to 21:30....then it starts to taper off. I am thinking that around 21:30 or so is when you finally fell asleep.
When we are looking at the flow rate at this zoomed out scale it just looks weird because so much stuff in scrunched together. To really see it you have to zoom in to maybe 3 to 5 minute segment scale and then you can really see how smooth or jagged the breaths are.

I have looked again at the flow and concluded that the aliens revisited and abducted me at 2:15 and 15 seconds and replaced me with a breathing simulacron. For the next 24 and a half minutes, the aliens had me in their clutches, until I was replaced in my bed at 2:39 and 45 seconds.

My breathing for the rest of the night looks like me. Whoever was using my CPAP machine for those 25 minutes was a robot!

Either that or the aliens were experimenting with you the other 8 hours and they momentarily left you alone those 25 minutes to go mess with someone else.

Yep....nice boring asleep breathing that bottom screen shot. The top one...ugly irregular breathing...arousal breathing of some sort that you probably don't remember.

I looked back over the last couple months - not seeing much of the robot kind of sleep. Plenty of the ugly stuff. That might explain a lot.

I am also angry and frustrated about the whole way that OSA patients are treated - Charge them $3000 no matter what machine they get.
What? no! i've heard of ASVs for over $7,000.00

No need to tape the ears.
I suspect the tape started to fail and come loose a bit as the night wore on...so a bit of mouth breathing happened.

How did you sleep in general?

If okay...I would just shrug my shoulders and move on. It's not about perfection in the numbers or the graphs...it's about getting decent sleep. Without decent sleep no amount of perfect anything matters.

You barely went into large leak territory briefly...and still within the machine's ability to compensate...it will actually behave fairly decently until up around 40 L/min or so leak.
It's not the end of the world to have 10 minutes in large leak...or heck even 30 minutes.

See my report below that I just shared in SleepyinGV thread...I don't always get perfect either. I know I do a bit of mouth breathing usually when on my back.

But you're such a fascinating test subject!

Ps, earplugs are acceptable instead of eartape :D

Yeah - I think the tape got damp.

I slept OK. I'm getting closer, and I know I don't want to get obsessed with a unicorn score. I would like to feel rested. I'm not there yet.

Okay...I understand...are you okay with how the Bleep is now working for you in general...no leaks, no noise, comfortable....that kind of thing. Or is there something with the Bleep that needs work? I want to make sure that at least the mask isn't making your sleep worse.

I gave up on wanting to see perfection numbers long ago....getting decent sleep is a big enough challenge for any number of reasons and as you well know....not all of those reasons are from cpap stuff or sleep apnea.
I wish it were that easy...getting the good numbers is fairly easy...feeling them is a whole different ball game.

Bleep was OK last night - I somehow wasted a set of ports - they wouldn't stick properly, so I had to start over. It is comfortable, and I am unaware of it once I fall asleep, so I guess it is not directly disturbing my sleep.
