Any serious runners with Apnea
Any serious runners with Apnea
Can a person run, even up to half and full marathons with Apnea. How does apnea affect your running performance. Do you have bad days? Interested in further discussion on this
We shall start with a chorus of the theme song of this board: I am NOT a doctor.

Apnea affects your SLEEP breathing. So the affect on marathoning would be (IMO) the same effect as not sleeping properly (because that's what it is).
It would not seem to me that average, ordinary OSA would affect your daytime breathing, so once the CPAP helps bring your rest back in line, you should (again, my guess) be as good at marathons as you would be without Apnea.
Liam, who doesn't run unless there are rabid wolves involved.
