Hair dent
I have been us using my CPAP for about 2.5 months and have been very pleased with it. Numbers are good and leaks (from pillows) are good enough for me to not worry about it. My only issue is that the strap on the top of my head holding the pillows leaves a dent in my hair that doesn't go away, even after washing. Is there a good way to prevent it? I am guessing that I could put a wash cloth under the strap; but concerned that it might make the pillows too tight. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Re: Hair dent
I am currently also using the P10 nasal pillows and I situate the head strap underneath my hair. Is that an option for you?

Re: Hair dent
I also use the P10; but with my hair being short that really wouldn’t work too well.

Re: Hair dent
I can definitely see where shorter hair would pose more of a problem. Hopefully others will have better suggestions.

Re: Hair dent
That is interesting. I don’t know that it has to cover full scalp; plus it might be too thin prevent the denting.LSAT wrote: ↑Fri Dec 28, 2018 9:18 pmLike this? https://www.pharmapacks.com/products.ph ... gJat_D_BwE

Karen at padacheek makes a fleece strap to put around the top p10 strap. Yes, I have one, and yes I have short hair.... but no longer have a "dent" in the top of my hair.
Karen is the BEST friend to have when you use cpap masks.
cheers

I us a Fisher Paykel full face under chin mask. The standard headgear really messes my hear up. So I replaced the headgear with a cpap cap from Phillips Respironics. Problem solved for me.MVPinBoynton wrote:That sounds like a winner! Thanks so much.

Re: Hair dent
The Phillip cap wouldn't work with the Resmed P=10; but I can see where it would solve your issue. I would probably have a problem with the straps on my ears though, if it did work. I had thought about wearing a regular baseball cap; but think that might be difficult to get used to. I might just need to modify a baseball cap.rakingman wrote: ↑Sat Dec 29, 2018 11:18 pmI us a Fisher Paykel full face under chin mask. The standard headgear really messes my hear up.
