Original Dawn does contain fragrance--read the label.
Even most Method hand soaps do.
I used to buy the Method unscented at Target, but can no longer find it.
Dawn free and clear is lightly scented, but still scented.

If you rinse the items thoroughly, there is no residue/fragrance/scent.
At least, not to me and my nose.

It appears that our noses fail Den. I can't smell any residue from Dawn either, even after a vinegar rinse, but both brothers could. I wash my bro's stuff in water and vinegar now, no detergent at all. He stopped complaining about the odor then. My late brother would get open wounds from most detergents. That was why the horse shampoo was so great. Unfortunately, our family suffers from immune system disorders and the severe contact dermatitis is part of that misery. I'm fortunate not to have that (so far).

That Moms Across America is a sick bunch of women preying on scientifically illiterate mothers. Check out their FB page sometime. They make good money shilling for Big Organic and various marketers of "natural" cosmetic and other "natural" products.

Meanwhile, thousands of mothers pay unnecessarily high prices for "organic" and "natural" products. Many have even cut back on vegetables and fruits in their diets because of the scaremongering about pesticides.

Did you ever see the Penn & Teller segment ("BULLSHIT!") they did on organic foods?
In part of it, they took a (regular, store-bought)) banana and cut it in half and told people walking by their food tasting setup that one half was "organic" and the other half was off the shelf from a grocery store and had them sample them.......then asked them which one tasted better.
Sure enough, they proclaimed that the "organic" one tasted better.

I'm not even aware of any addiction programs to help wean oneself off of the stuff... unless one goes the WC Fields method.

I use Aquaphor baby wash and shampoo. Its fragrance free. I cant handle fragrances at all. Makes my asthma flare up. I buy this at Kroger and it does a good job for me.

I didn't know Dr. Bronner's made a baby soap. Good to know about the Aquaphor baby wash. I think I saw it at Walmart. Hopefully I can buy both locally and give them a try. Last week, I ended up ordering the Burt's Bees fragrance free baby wash since I used up the last of it. It came very quickly which was good. Still a pain to have to order and plan ahead to get it. Plus it's a little pricey. They do offer free shipping on auto delivery. It seems they quit selling it in stores. I know people who use it on their babies and are annoyed they can't find it.

I use Seventh Generation Free and Clear dish detergent for dishes. I still have to use gloves so I'm hesitant to try it for the CPAP.

I wonder if the laboratory cleaner ResMed has validated for their masks, "Alconox – Powdered Precision Cleaner" in a 1% solution, has any fragrance? It doesn't seem to, nor does it seem like it should given it's applications.

The soap scent will upset my tummy too. I have used several soaps. I have found that if I wipe down the mask cushion with a unscented baby wipe, it will remove any soap scent.
