ResMed-AirCurve 10 on eBay - now a VAUTO

Post by JimW159 » Sat Jul 28, 2018 7:41 am

Since the ResMed AirCurve 10 ASV (model 37046) BiPAP originally listed on eBay (located in Everett, WA) sold, it has been replaced with:

ResMed AirCurve 10 with an opening bid of $300 and a BIN of $500. It is listed as in Youngstown, OH with $12 shipping. They don't specify the model but if one hovers over the picture so that it is magnified one can just make out what appears to be VAUTO. The description only states: "Like new, Only has 539 hours on it. comes with travel case, new hose, humidifier tank, power supply, all manuals, everything except mask."

If it was the model number you mentioned model 37046...that's not an ASV machine.
It's a regular bilevel machine AirCurve 10 S model.
If the seller put ASV in the listing...he doesn't know his machines.

I concluded the same, 37046 corresponded to the AirCurve 10 S - however, the photos of the machine showed ASV on the face - there was no photo of the info plate.

If those were photos of the actual machine then it was an ASV and the seller looked the number up wrong and didn't realize how much more expensive this machine is when they listed it.

$445 for a new Aircurve 10 ASV :-0

If the photos showed ASV....hell, no wonder it got sold fast. If I had spotted it I would have bought it immediately.
By the time I looked..it was gone. If it had still been up when I looked I would be the buyer.

There is also an Air Curve 10 ASV on Oklahoma City area facebook market place listed for $650. Listing says it is new. It has been listed for over a week, now. They listed it under CPAP machines, so most bi-level machine users haven't seen it. I found one at a lower price that had been listed as a bipap machine on market place.

Sigh....maybe I need to learn how to use my Facebook and figure out the Market Place thing. I might be missing the deal of a lifetime on something. Typical woman...loves good deals especially the killer hot deals. You know the old story we tell husbands...."Honey, I saved you $200 and only spent $300 doing it. "

It was around $1200 and hubby whined only for a little while about it...until he got a chance to see the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders with their boobies nearly life size and such a crystal clear image you think you could feel them. Every little freckle shows up so clear.
After that...the new TV was the best decision "he" has ever made.

Just like the new floor I just put down...he whined a bit (grumbled something about not really needing it, nothing wrong with the old floor) and now that it is done and I was right and it is beautiful and the trim he said I didn't need is down...it is the best decision "he" ever made and aren't I glad I listened to him?

He whines until he realizes that I actually have some good ideas and stubborn enough to get it done.
He was zero help with the quarter round miter joints. Big surprise there. But I am stubborn and I kept at it until I got the hang of it.

I was the purchaser of the asv machine. I will receive the item in the next few days around August 4 so I will confirm if it is really an ASV machine. I spoke to the seller and the seller confirmed that it is in fact an ASV(the seller has a good rating on ebay) so I'm not sure where that model number came from. I bought the machine to flip it. I already have an aircurve 10 Vauto and don't think that I actually need an ASV machine.

You got a good deal and you can set it up so that it functions just like your AirCurve 10 VAuto if you wish...just a matter of a little tweaking of the settings. If you don't have a back up machine...might be worth keeping it.

Oh wow I'm not too familiar with the machine itself I just know that it cost alot. I may consider keeping it but I'm actually doing quite well on the VAuto for now. Apparently the machine is brand new with zero hours on it but we will see if that's the case cause they way it was written it the description made it appear as if the travel bag was the brand new item. I still will keep it even if it isn't brand new because that machine is very expensive and some hours on it shouldn't really depreciate the value that much.

Appears to be a Vauto not ASV.
