Dreamwear pillows dont fit looking for alternatives

Post by cpap626 » Mon Jul 02, 2018 11:43 am

I have been struggling to get the Dreamwear nasal pillows to fit properly. The small almost feels too small and after about 2 hours I have to take it off because it feels like it is stuck in my nose. When I use the med it seems like it is too big and starts leaking if I turn on my side. I tried using the dreamwear pillow as well but I dont like how much my upper lip sweats.

Does anyone else have any recommendations. I think I want to go with nasal pillows, I was looking at the P10 but the Nuance Pro Nasal Pillow system is only about $40. I am concerned that the nuance pro nasal pillows will be the same awkward size as the dreamwear. Any suggestions would be helpful. I am not going though insurance so anything that can be bought locally on sites like amazon would be helpful.

Thank you again!

yeah, i realize that i'm giving you a link to the p10 and it costs more than 2x the nuance does but-

https://www.cpap.com/productpage/resmed ... dgear.html

it DOES come with a thirty day insurance policy, meaning you can return for a full refund.

but i understand it's quite the price difference....

Actually the P10 is less expensive than the mask in their profile. The P10 is a good choice for many here.

except he wasn't comparing to his profile, he was comparing to the nuance WHICH HE STATED IN HIS POST.

Thanks, I am using the dreamwear right now and looking for a different kind of fit. Is the P10 the one most people are happy with vs the nuance one in the thread that is half the price?

well, i don't know how many folks have tried the both of them. the p10 is the ONLY nasal pillow i've tried. it was the fourth mask of any type i'd ever tried and with a bit of an adjustment period, it's worked well for me ever since.

mind you, i also use a soft cervical collar (to keep my chin up) and hairbands (to keep my lips closed).

but it works for me and i'm happy with it.
