sore throat

Post by rjgreen3 » Thu Dec 21, 2006 3:47 pm

Hi Family,
Recently I have been waking up with a dry throat and needless to say it has now become a sore throat. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to combat this problem?

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

My first guess would be that you are mouth breathing (and maybe snoring). Air is going up your nose, and out your mouth - a very drying combination.

If that's not happening, then maybe you should turn your humidifier up a bit. Winter air is dry so perhaps more humidity would help your throat and nasal passage.
