I got a new AS10 machine in June. I didn't get a card with it, so I used an old, small card from a long gone camera... It seemed to work fine for a short while (verified with SH download after 2 nights) but stopped after a couple of nights more... then, nothing for months! During that time, I would occasionally see a screen with an hour glass in the morning when I turned the machine off, but without glasses, I could never read it. Bummer. When I got home from vacation and went to transfer to SH, I found the long stretch of months with only abbreviated data. Grrr.
So I cleaned the contacts and formatted the card, again, then put it back into the machine. The machine took the card with nothing more than the "I'm readying this card for use" screen. I checked it the next morning, but now a week later, there is just a couple of days data, again!
Anyone seen this behavior? I never had this problem with my PRS1 machine...
