Sigh, I'm back.
I used to post here several years ago when I used a bipap. But then I got rid of my machine. I hated using it. I got a respiratory infection that lasted, literally, months. I wasn't happy. And I got fed up.
But I'm back. Did another sleep study and have a brand new machine. So I'm trying this process again. I've been using it several nights now. Instead of the nasal pillows, I'm doing a Wisp nasal mask this time. I'm impressed that a few of the things I hated about doing this therapy have been fixed - including getting a DME that seems to be, so far, a little more friendly and concerned about actually helping me.
Did have some rainout a couple of nights ago (I'd forgotten about that "fun" that can happen), but I think (knock on wood) that I've gotten that problem under control. Still struggling to find a comfortable sleeping position. But I'm trying to be a little more positive this time around.
Again, sigh. I hate to have to do this! Yeah, yeah, I know - it's for my health, I'll get some much-needed sleep, and I won't die of a heart attack.
Soooooo, hi AGAIN everyone!
