Sorry, that was me. Once my auto log in worked and I never had to log in, but alas, it no longer works and I sometimes forget. I have changed security settings and nothing seems to help. Any suggestions??

Make sure you're accepting cookies from cpaptalk.com. Usually the security settings you changed made it so that you automatically reject all cookies. The auto-login on this site is done with them, so you need them if you want that to work. I like to set my browser to ask me before accepting cookies so I can reject the ones from advertisers and accept the ones I want.
Dreaming heaps since CPAP

I have been on CPAP for 5 weeks and have noticed that I dream all the time, when I can hardly remember the last vivid dream I had pre cpap. I find myself sitting sometimes just reflecting on how much better my life is now. I wish I had found out about cpap 10 years ago!

Congrats on your dreams everyone, I myself have been on cpap for 3 months and had but 1 dream. I feel alot better, even my mother says that I look better when I woke up at her house during the xmas break, so everything in treatment is going well ... but no dreams.
Pre-cpap I can't remember the last time I had a dream

Dreams = Better Sleep? Could someone please elaborate? I have been dreaming, on or off CPAP, so I can't detect the improvement generated by CPAP like most of you do.

Remembering your dreams doesn't necessarily equate to better sleep. Everyone's different. Here is a clickable link to a post by rested gal where she compiled a ton of links discussing dreams and REM sleep:
LINKS to dreaming - dreams - REM rebound

No, but it sure is good to have dreams again. I went for years without them. I couldn't figure out why until I was diagnosed with osa. At least now I know that I am reaching that REM sleep!!!

Well I don't know if I'm having better sleep or not but I do know that I too for years stopped dreaming and sincne going on PAP treatment I have been dreaming every night without fail ... I don't know if it is the dreams or not but I feel way better and more rested than I have since I was in my early twenties. I prefer the dreams than not.

I'll accept cookies from anyone who wants to give them to me. That probably explains the five lbs I've gained over the holidays.

I've been on cpap since October. I also just started having my first dreams while "hosed up." Some are pretty weird, nightmare-ish but some are also very very nice ... he he

I've been on CPAP for about 450 hours now. I'm starting to dream much more often, in fact I dream most every night. I don't remember dreaming this much since I was in highschool. But I don't know that I can associate it with "good" sleep yet.

I had no dreams for years and then after I became a cpap user and finally switched to the Hybrid mask the dreams came in a big way. As far as pleasant/unpleasant dreams, most of them are neutral with an occasional good one and an occasional nightmare.
My wife and I watched "Million Dollar Baby" before going to bed one night last week. The first two-thirds of this flick are great but then Wham! My nightmares were about losing limbs!

Congratulations on having dreams again
I am a newbie i have been on the cpap treatment for 28 day's now. I can't honestly say i remember when i last had a dream, it's been years. I didn't really think about it until i was diagnosed with OSA and discovered this wonderfull forum at cpaptalk and started reading about people having dreams. After figuring out dreams are a sign of good cpap treatment and rem sleep i can't wait to have a dream, how long does it take ? I feel a lot better now (sleeping good) and no more foggy, drowsy afternoons and more energy since i started treatment.
