I voted for 7, but my sleep amount varies depending on when I get to bed. I would rather have checked 7-8 hours, but since the choice was limited I chose 7 as that would probably the most accurate for an all-over average.

About 7 now that I've moved to the higher ground in my Cave, before I was getting 8 to 9 every night, I need a bigger rock to roll over the entrance, too much light gets in, really I think it's too hot in here. I like it cold with lots of covers to hide in. Jim

That depends. Are we talking the night before the day I have a paper due? Or a night when I have no paper due the next day? Sigh. I had to pull two all-nighters last week to finish papers. That's not uncommon around here, but is REALLY BAD for me to have to do with my apnea and all. Professors just don't understand that they can't assign things last minute without ruining sleep hygiene.

A friend actually had a professor say to the class "You can finish this. You don't need to sleep. You can sleep when you're dead." He was entirely serious.

One and a half more semesters!

It just depends. Some nights I have really bad insomnia.... just can't get to sleep for a long time. Others.... especially if I am tired... I fall right to sleep.

I will wait a few nights before answering, since I just got my machine.

I answered 8... but that depends on whether it's a weekend or during the week. Weekends I tend to get more like 10.

I'm glad you asked, I see from MyEncore that I was averaging 6 on APAP, but seem to be up to about 7 on BiPAP. I did not know that.

The first couple of months I think I averaged not much better than 4, but that felt better than my untreated state, by a long shot.

I get 5 to 6 hours a night on average.
I would like to try to get up to 8 hours a night but have found if I go to bed earlier I wake earlier.

5 -6 hours since being on CPAP. 2 - 3 prior to CPAP.
