Needed -- opinions on AutoScan software

Thinking about purchasing this, but since I am a programmer it may
be easier to just whip up a program to suck out the data and then
use Excel to make the graphs. Is it possible once you have the data
to use something like Silverling or Encore software instead.

I am also interested in the software and would appreciate some users evaluations....I however cannot make my own software to do the job.

I should be receiving my AutoScan software in a couple of days, and I too would be interested in any information/suggestions about it.
