Currently I have it at 8.5 - 13.5. (little curious how it can go past 13.5?)

Ok I think I have the hang of it... I am at 8.5 - 15.5 and my AHI is 3.4 now. I could probably go a hair higher for some events, but with the AHI where its at I think I will leave it alone... Almost all the events on the graph are now within the limits (no longer riding the top line...)

Well the one was how it can go higher than the high limit...

Also, I think I have the range set, but was looking for an "expert" opinion...

Mike,

Hard to comment without seeing the data graphs. The key is how the pressure fluctuations correspond to snores, leaks, etc...

I don't think the machine will go above your set ceiling, mine never has, even though it has relined a few times when I had a lot of leaks.

If you can post you data.

Mike,

You have a HUGE amount of snores. What type of mask are you using? I think I would try raising the bottom pressure and see if you can get the snores down. I had problems with this on occasion causing my pressure to elevate above my normal reqirements. All thos un treated snores may be causing the REMatar algorithm to react strangely. Give that a try. Also have you seen an ENT. You may have some physiological circumstance that leads to excesive vibrations. There's also the chance that you have some interference (fan etc...) that are creating vibrations picked up as snores. WOW! you have a lot of them.

Glassgal here -- home from Hawaii .

I got the SilverLining software & PB 420e while on vacation and was dinking with it there. The first night was wide open on pressure -- 4-20 cm/H2O. Then with Titrator's help I zeroed in on my pressure -- currently set at 10-16.5. I had higher pressure readings than my ceiling that flummoxed me at first, then I figured out that it was AVERAGING all the nights that it was recording, so the first night, when the pressure climbed to 18.5, it skewed the data for the ensuing nights. I am unfamiliar with the software that you are using, but this may be what caused your readings also. Just a thought!

I have a deviated septum, but dunno if that would do it. Last night I upped it to 9.0 - 15.5 and my AHI went up to 6? link here

The mask is a Mirage Ultra FF...

I think the reason the AHI went up was the mask was making more noise (at the vent) at the higher pressure and the Remstar was reading that as snore. I didn't have much leak around the mask (the wife would wake me up like the one night it did ) So I am going to try to drop the top back down and leave the bottom at 9...

Jane,

Not sure if encore does that... The compliance data is accumulated but the detail appears to be only from the period you download... i.e. if you download it daily then it only has the daily detail.

As for all the snores. Wife says she heard some, so I guess I was?
guess it was just a bad night?
